LuraDocument is an innovative compression software for documents scanned
in color which contain both two-tone elements such as text or technical
drawings, as well as pictures. Text and image portions are segmented and
independently compressed using the respective optimal algorithms.
LuraDocument therefore permits the storage of color scans in
excellent image quality despite small file sizes. "Keep the Color –
Archive with LuraDocument": All document details are easily visible
thanks to the retention of color, enabling for example, the
straightforward distinction between original invoices and their copies
at a glance.
The LuraDocument C-SDK allows hardware and software developers to
integrate the compression functionalities in their own applications.
