LuraTech introduces simple, new pricing for the LuraDocument PDF product line effective immediately. Previously most LuraDocument PDF prices were calculated on number of pages created. However, now you can use these products without limit based on the following pricing:

The new license model also applies to the LuraDocument PDF SDK's. This way as you integrate exceptional PDF compression into your own applications, there will be no further need to count the number of pages created or sell additional cartridges.

However the PDF Compressor Desktop, the local workstation scanning solution, and the PDF Compressor Medium, offering batch processing for mid-sized projects, continue to have the same pricing:

LuraDocument PDF Compressor converts your scanned documents into highly compressed, full text searchable PDF files. In addition you are able to compress existing PDF files and preserve all of the hidden content information, for example, OCR results, bookmarks and meta data contained within the file. LuraDocument PDF Compressor:

• Achieves extremely high compression rates on both scanned and PDF documents,
• Preserves the original image quality and all hidden content and OCR result, and
• Works on full color, gray scale and black/white documents.

Concretely, color PDF files can be reduced to virtually the same size as the black & white Fax Group 4 predecessor. Moreover, LuraDocument compresses black & white documents to half of the size of the Fax Group 4 files without foregoing image quality.
