At CeBIT 2007, LuraTech will be unveiling the latest product enhancement to its LuraDocument PDF Compressor: a BSI certified and common criteria compliant signature component. This innovation rounds off the proven LuraDocument PDF Compressor which now offers data compression, OCR, PDF/A support and electronic signatures, all in a single product.

Customers from the scanning services sector and industry have been crying out for this enhancement which, in a single work step, allows scanned documents to be transformed into highly compressed PDF/A documents which can be searched in full text (OCR) and tagged with a digital signature.

The PDF Compressor has also been enhanced with a wealth of new functions identified as being essential in the course of every day use. These include PDF configuration which supports a wide range of settings for the generated PDF files.

A further key enhancement is expedited OCR recognition. This involved an overhaul of the entire internal OCR workflow of the PDF Compressor, increasing processing speeds by as much as 25 percent.
