Algo Vision LuraTech GmbH is a leading developer JPEG2000 implementations and
technology for the compression of images and documents. With its LuraWave.jp2
plug-in, the Berlin-based company now also offers all Photoshop users (from

The image format JPEG2000 uses wavelet technology for greater compression of
image data, to create even smaller graphics files. At the same time, a far
better image quality can be offered than conventional formats such as JPEG.
Often less than one percent of the original data size is sufficient for very

especially in the graphic design area, where huge volumes of image data must
