LuraTech Debuts Industry's First Complete PDF/A Product Portfolio for Enterprise Content and Document Management at AIIM Conference & Expo

Boston, MASS - April 16, 2007 - LuraTech, Inc., a leading provider of open, ISO- compliant JPEG2000 and PDF/A technology, will exhibit at this year's AIIM Conference & Exposition at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center, April 16-19, 2007 at Booth 2071.

PDF/A (or PDF/Archive), enables organizations to archive documents electronically in a way that will ensure the preservation of content over an extended period of time. It guarantees enterprises the ability to retrieve and render electronic documents in an unpredictable future technical landscape.

LuraTech continues to grow its PDF/A product offering. Last year, LuraTech was first to introduce a PDF/A solution for scanned documents by extending LuraDocument PDF Compressor, which compresses color and bi-tonal scanned documents into extremely small files with the most widely proven Mixed Raster Content (MRC) compression. This year at AIIM, LuraTech extends the PDF Compressor by adding digital signature capabilities. Now with one software package, organizations can compress, OCR and digitally sign scanned documents while archiving them to the PDF/A standard format.

Additionally, LuraTech is debuting two new products which extend their PDF/A product portfolio: the LuraDocument PDF/A Printer and LuraDocument PDF/A Validator. The LuraDocument PDF/A Printer converts electronic documents, e.g. MS Office files or CAD drawings, into ISO compliant PDF/A files. The PDF/A Validator checks and certifies all PDF files against the PDF/A standard during the archival process. Together LuraTech is now positioned to have the most complete offering of all the necessary tools to create documents compliant to the PDF/A standard for long-term archiving.
