PDF Compressor Desktop

The LuraDocument PDF Compressor Desktop is a solution for manual conversion and compression of scanned documents into PDF and PDF/A files. It is ideal for single-workstation use and decentralized processing, in order to occasionally process documents manually. Users benefit from a high compression rate which allows smaller-sized documents to be sent more easily via e-mail or safely archived as PDF/A documents.

LuraDocument PDF Compressor for InputAccel

The PDF Compressor for InputAccel enables InputAccel users to create color PDF and PDF/A files of high quality that require little storage space.

This version of the PDF Compressor Enterprise includes a complete integrated interface for InputAccel. This means that only minor adaptation of the existing InputAccel processes is necessary.

After the introduction of the PDF Compressor for InputAccel, the question of scanning in color or black and white is irrelevant for InputAccel scanning applications due to maximum color compression. After scanning, the solution first separates incoming images into text, background and foreground and creates a highly compressed color PDF. InputAccel can also receive the pure text image from the integrated PDF Compressor, classify it on this basis and extract the data using OCR. The recognition rates of OCR processes are significantly increased by the text image from which all disruptive image elements have been removed by segmentation. This considerably reduces the effort and expense for manual correction of the read results. Subsequent correction stations, archive exports or other downstream systems can receive highly compressed images in color.

Thus the new PDF Compressor for InputAccel enables business processes for all aspects of input management to be optimized even further. This noticeably reduces costs and increases productivity. For example, documents from incoming mail can be captured faster and made available throughout the organization.
