DocYard integrates all scan service tasks into a single unified platform. In this case, integration means that tried and tested components and tools can continue to be used with the platform. In this way, individual components become steps in a process. Integrating production with the DocYard platform means all production data is logged at a central location. Standard software, re-use, constant improvement
DocYard modules are reusable building blocks. These building blocks can be arranged in a graphical user interface to create workflows for new projects without any programming. Central reporting and monitoring
Complete, centralized collection of all production data means that reports dealing with every step of the process can be easily generated. The standard version of DocYard alone guarantees integrity checking and service level agreement monitoring. Further reports provide production data evaluation tailored to the user, in order to obtain data for production planning, costing or billing purposes.
All ongoing jobs managed by the DocYard system are centrally monitored in real-time, in order to ensure cost-effective document processing in the time permitted. DocYard therefore allows constant improvement of ongoing jobs.

DocYard modules integrate automatic and manual tasks (e.g. paper processing) into single unified workflows. DocYard centrally manages and seamlessly records every task in the workflow, from the initial check-in of paper documents, through tracking the paper preparation to the final production of the finished electronic file.

Central configuration
DocYard clearly presents all production tools and resources in a central location, including their capacity usage. New workflows can be created by configuring the available modules and resources without any programming. Resources can be dynamically assigned to ongoing jobs. Error-prone co-ordination processes are dispensed with, since the production manager, operating from a central location, can instantly react to bottlenecks and assign documents and batches to interactive workstations according to priority. Production workers have their tasks pushed to them rather than having to choose the batches to be processed themselves.

DocYard is highly scalable. It can be run on a single computer, for example to manage an individual project.
