Cockpit: The DocYard Cockpit centrally manages and monitors all aspects of production. Here, workflows are created and jobs based on them are started. The Cockpit displays real-time information about resource usage, status of service level agreements and potential errors. Production managers have immediate influence from this location; for example, they can assign additional resources to jobs to counter potential service level agreement breaches, or reset batches if an error occurs.
One DocYard installation allows multiple users access to the Cockpit. The production manager, therefore, can for instance monitor ongoing jobs while the commercial department calculates the cost using the reports generated by the Cockpit.
Modules: These are DocYard’s individual functional components. Modules carry out e.g. OCR or record manual steps in production planning. DocYard modules can run on a fully automated basis- such as document classification- or contain a user interface, for example if OCR results require correction.
Database: The database is the central delivery area for all configuration and production data. Any reports and evaluations of jobs can then be generated using this data.
