DocYard® Product Details

Product Description

Cockpit
The DocYard Cockpit is the central management application through which all DocYard features and functions are controlled. Using the Cockpit, workflow designs can be created and new jobs can be configured and run based on those workflows. Through the Cockpit, users can monitor the status of the jobs in real time, reviewing resource usage and adjusting accordingly to make processes more efficient. The Cockpit also enables users to generate reports for jobs that are underway or completed, helping with billing and managing individual jobs.

Master
The DocYard Master is the Windows service that acts as the central nervous system of the DocYard platform.  The Master directs all jobs that are running, ensuring that the critical information between the modules are collected and shared.

Module Manager
A Module Manager is the communication partner for the Master and is also a Windows service installed on each computer running DocYard to control and coordinate the Modules.

Module
DocYard Modules are individual, functional components that drive each feature or step within a workflow. Modules can be fully automated or drive manual processes, and through the Cockpit, operation managers can drag and drop DocYard Modules to create new workflows.

Database
The DocYard Database is where that Master saves all of the processing information and system settings.    With the information stored here, system administrators can develop a variety of reports or analysis data for any of the jobs and workflows.

DocYard Module API
The DocYard Module API enables integration of existing functions, software packages or document imaging software development kits within the DocYard platform.

The DocYard Module API enables Modules to report their progress data in order to monitor the Module’s status and generate standard reports. DocYard optimizes the Modules’ performance by minimizing the amount of data transported to and from modules to ensure efficiency.
