Comparison of Performance between LuraWave LWF
and JPEG or TIFF
LuraWave LWF is distinguished by significantly improved visual quality, especially at high compression rates, compared to JPEG. This is made possible through the use of patented wavelet algorithms. LuraWave LWF compressed images are displaying excellent visual quality even at very high compression rates ranging up to 1:200. This results in compressed files of about one third the size at still improved visual quality compared to JPEG.
